1. Buyer/Seller

1.1 "Seller" refers to ShuttersUFIT; "Buyer" refers to the person, firm, or company placing an order. Terms are binding unless varied in writing by the Seller.

1.2 These terms, along with the order details and any special written agreements, form the complete contract.

1.3 Timeframes are essential to the agreement.

2. Quotation

2.1 Quotations are invitations, not legal offers. The order is considered the offer; the Seller's acceptance is binding.

2.2 Prices may change without notice unless agreed as fixed in writing.

2.3 Prices may be subject to change due to pricing errors, mistakes, or stocking issues. The Seller is not liable for such changes, and by using the site, the user affirms their understanding and acceptance of this condition.

3. Delivery

3.1 Delivery times are estimates only; the Seller is not liable for delays.

3.2 Failure to accept delivery may incur re-delivery, storage, and insurance charges.

3.3 Delivery issues must be reported within 5 days.

3.4 Delivery will be made to the Buyer's stated address unless otherwise agreed.

3.5 Goods signed as "unchecked" or "in good condition" are considered accepted.

4. Retention of Title

4.1 Ownership remains with the Seller until full payment is received.

4.2 Possession rights cease if payment terms are breached, bankruptcy occurs, or liquidation is initiated.

4.3 The Seller may repossess goods if payment terms are not met.

5. Self-Install Terms

5.1 The Buyer acknowledges that self-installation is undertaken at their own risk. The Seller is not liable for any damage, incorrect installation, or injury resulting from self-installation.

5.2 The Seller provides installation guidelines for reference only; it is the Buyer's responsibility to follow them correctly and seek professional assistance if needed.

5.3 Any damage to the product or property due to incorrect installation is the Buyer's responsibility, and such instances are not covered by warranty or return policies.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 The full order total displayed at checkout is due when the order is placed, unless a different arrangement has been agreed with the Seller in writing.

7.2 Online card payments and emailed payment links are processed securely by Tyl. An order is not treated as paid until payment has been confirmed.

7.3 Any separately agreed pro-forma, staged payment, or credit terms must be confirmed by the Seller in writing.

8. Returns

8.1 Defective goods must be reported within 5 days of delivery/installation. Goods signed as "perfect condition" are non-returnable.

9. Liability

9.1 The Buyer must inspect goods before installation; the Seller is not liable if the Buyer is absent.

9.2 Colour variations may occur; minor imperfections are not considered defects.

9.3 Goods are not guaranteed against fading or damage from environmental conditions.

9.4 The Seller is not liable for consequential losses beyond the order value.

9.5 The Buyer is responsible for ensuring electrical wiring does not obstruct installation.

9.6 Orders are binding upon submission; alterations incur additional costs.
