ShuttersUFIT guarantees to the original purchaser that each custom shutter product, properly installed and maintained, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
We provide a 5-year guarantee on all our shutters.
Claims for incorrect or defective products must be made within 5 days of receipt and before any alterations or installation attempts.
If a product is found defective under normal use, ShuttersUFIT will repair or replace any defective components at no charge, provided the product is shipped to our repair facility.
This guarantee does not imply automatic replacement of any product.
This guarantee does not cover damage due to accidents, misuse, abuse, improper installation, fire, flood, or other natural disasters. It excludes issues caused by failure to follow care and maintenance instructions.
Light leakage between louvres and frames is expected and not considered a defect.
Excessive heat exposure resulting in warping or shrinkage is not covered.
ShuttersUFIT is not liable for travel costs, property damage, or incidental expenses.
Orders cannot be cancelled once submitted due to our strict manufacturing schedule. Modifications may be possible within the first 48 hours of placing the order, subject to production status.
Any cancellation or change-related costs will be charged to the customer.
The factory reserves the right to alter designs or discontinue components. If an identical replacement part is unavailable, a comparable part of equal quality will be provided.
Shutters are manufactured to industry standards. Minor imperfections not visible from 1.5m in natural light are not considered defects. Shutters with touch-up kits include colour-matched stickers or caps. Panels may dip slightly when opened and may need slight lifting to close properly.
Use a dry microfiber cloth or a vacuum with a soft brush attachment for dust. For marks, use a damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Our shutters are tested to ASTM C518 – 2004 standards, with a heat transfer rate of 0.10035, providing efficient thermal insulation.
This guarantee is exclusive and replaces all other warranties. ShuttersUFIT is not responsible for indirect or incidental damages. Consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
